Their team in Melbourne's north, are looking for experienced Graphic Designer to join their small team.

Key points

  • 830am -430pm Monday to Friday

  • 70k-80k + super (depending on experience)

Job Summary

The Graphic Designer is responsible for the visual presentation and creative development of the company’s products and marketing materials. This includes designing and producing the company catalogue, maintaining and designing website graphics, photographing products, and creating new trophy and award concepts. The role supports both marketing and product development, ensuring the company’s brand, product range, and promotional materials are visually appealing, accurate, and aligned with market trends.

Key Responsibilities

Catalogue Design & Production

  • Design, update, and produce the company’s annual and seasonal product catalogues.
  • Prepare catalogue layouts including product images, descriptions, pricing tables, and specifications.
  • Ensure all catalogue artwork is consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate with sales and product teams to ensure catalogue information is accurate.
  • Prepare files for print and digital distribution.

Website Design & Digital Content

  • Design and maintain visual content for the company website.
  • Create product graphics, banners, promotional graphics, and landing page visuals.
  • Upload and optimise product images and visual assets.
  • Work with the web development team or CMS platform to maintain site design consistency.
  • Ensure website imagery is optimised for performance and user experience.

Product Photography

  • Photograph trophies, medals, plaques, and other products for catalogue and website use.
  • Set up lighting, backgrounds, and staging to ensure professional-quality images.
  • Edit and retouch photos using professional software.
  • Maintain a well-organised image library for marketing and product use.
  • Ensure images meet print and digital quality standards.

New Trophy & Product Design

  • Develop creative concepts for new trophies, awards, medals, and plaques.
  • Create product design sketches, renderings, or prototypes.
  • Work with suppliers and production teams to bring new product concepts to market.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor products to inspire new designs.
  • Assist in expanding and refreshing the company’s product range.

Marketing & Brand Support

  • Design marketing materials including flyers, brochures, advertisements, and social media graphics.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all visual materials.
  • Assist with promotional campaigns and seasonal marketing initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong layout design skills for catalogues and marketing materials.
  • Product photography and photo editing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Education & Experience

  • Certificate Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
  • Previous experience in graphic design, preferably in product-based or wholesale industries. 5 years plus experience
  • Experience producing catalogues or large-format marketing materials is highly desirable.
  • 5 years plus experience in graphic design role
