Technician

Our client is a leading technology company specialising in automated warehouse and fulfilment solutions, using advanced robotics, software and engineering technology to transform the way goods are stored, picked and delivered. They operate a highly technical, fast-paced environment where innovation and reliability are key to keeping automated systems running efficiently.

We are seeking a hands-on Technical Support Technician to join the team, working alongside experienced engineers, you will assist with troubleshooting and resolving onsite technical incidents, using your mechanical skills, hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically minded technician looking to develop their skills within a cutting-edge automated environment.

Hours:
Rotating shifts
Day: 6am - 4pm
Afternoon: 2pm - 11:36pm
Night: 11pm - 6:36am

*Please note this is a rotating roster, you must be available for all three shift times*

Payrate:

• Day Shift: $54.83 per hour
• Afternoon Shift: $63.06 per hour
• Night Shift: $63.06 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assist engineers with diagnosing and resolving technical incidents and issues onsite.
• Provide technical support across hardware, software and networking systems.
• Use hand and power tools to assist with repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Use a multimeter to measure electrical properties including voltage, current and resistance.
• Follow technical procedures, documentation and safety requirements while ensuring issues are progressed towards timely resolution.

About You:
To be successful in this opportunity, you will possess the following:

• Previous experience in a technical support, maintenance or similar hands-on technical role.
• Mechanically minded with confidence using hand and power tools.
• Experience or familiarity using a multimeter and troubleshooting electrical/electronic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
