Our client is a leading partner of major food suppliers, they are looking for fit, reliable and hardworking casual team members to join the team in their Truganina DC. Working in a fast-paced, highly automated environment, you’ll be responsible for feeding bags into bagging machines, operating two basic machines and helping keep the automated process running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role involving regular lifting, walking and machine operation throughout the shift. With an immediate start available, a great team environment and and guaranteed work for 2–3 months, this is a great opportunity for candidates looking for well-paid casual work.

Hours:

Rotating roster across day, afternoon and night shifts, including weekends. You will work a rotating pattern of 4 days on/2 days off, 4 afternoons on/3 days off and 4 nights on/3 days off.

Payrate:

Day Shift: 6:00am – 4:00pm — $55.03 per hour

Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 11:31pm — $63.29 per hour

Night Shift: 11:00pm – 6:36am — $71.91 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Lifting heavy boxes from pallets and placing them onto trolleys throughout the shift.
• Lifting boxes to empty bags onto a conveyor to feed the automated machinery.
• Operating two basic bagging machines in a fast-paced environment following training.
• Walking between machines and work areas to maintain production flow.
• Operating the stacker machine to safely remove crates that become stuck on the de-stacker.
• Other general warehouse duties as required.

To be successful in this opportunity, you will possess the following:

• Previous warehouse, production, machine operation or similar experience is required.
• Be physically fit and comfortable repeatedly lifting heavy boxes throughout the shift.
• Be comfortable with regular walking and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Be reliable and flexible to work day, afternoon and night shifts, including weekends, as part of a rotating roster.
• Have a strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
