Safety Officer

Key responsibilities:

• Management of health, safety and environmental activities

• Complying with legislative requirements and company standards
• Undertake audits, inspections, and front-line engagements

• Risk assessments, work method statements, project plans and reviews
• Facilitate and coordinate relevant safety meetings on site

• Assist with managing contractors on site from a Safety perspective

Looking for:

• Certificate IV in OHS/WHS (Diploma desirable)
• Experience in heavy industry with exposure to construction, mobile plant, materials handling, or related high-risk industry

• Knowledge of current legislation, standards, and industry requirements

• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively with workers and managers

• Experience or qualifications in training and assessment would be highly desirable but not

essential.

• Valid Driver's Licence and able to travel across multiple sites
