AI Engineer — Job DescriptionJob OverviewWe are looking for a talented AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions that solve real-world business problems. The ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals, experience working with AI/ML technologies, and the ability to transform data and business requirements into reliable, scalable AI-powered applications.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop AI/ML models and intelligent applications.
Develop and integrate Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI APIs into production systems.
Build AI-powered features such as chatbots, recommendation systems, classification, prediction, and document processing.
Develop RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines using vector databases and embedding models.
Prepare, clean, transform, and analyze datasets for AI/ML applications.
Evaluate model performance, accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
Fine-tune or optimize AI models when necessary.
Integrate AI solutions with existing web applications, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
Implement monitoring, testing, and continuous improvement for AI systems.
Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders.
Stay current with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
Ensure AI solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and responsible.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, AI engineering, or a related role.
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with software engineering best practices.
Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
Understanding of machine learning concepts, model evaluation, and data preprocessing.
Experience working with REST APIs and databases.
Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or other LLM APIs.
Experience building applications using RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience deploying AI/ML models into production environments.
Understanding of MLOps and model monitoring.
Experience with NLP, computer vision, or speech AI.
