Linen Supply Coordinator - Healthcare Logistics

They are currently seeking an organised, hands-on, and people-focused Linen Supply Co-Ordinator to join their logistics team and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of essential services within a hospital environment.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, the Linen Supply Co-Ordinator will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day linen distribution operations, inventory management, and team coordination within a local hopsital.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and healthcare personnel, you'll ensure stock availability, operational efficiency, service excellence, and on-time delivery performance.
This position combines leadership, logistics, customer service, and operational planning, making it ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility and enjoys being at the centre of a busy operation.
Key Responsibilities
- A hands on approach to leading a team
- Coordinate the daily packing and distribution of linen supplies.
- Prepare packing lists, operational reports, and related documentation.
- Ensure delivery schedules are achieved and communicated effectively.
- Escalate operational issues and service risks as required.
- Support quality control and operational improvement initiatives.
- Team Leadership Allocate daily workloads and priorities to Packers and Porters.
- Promote a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture.
- Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with internal departments and healthcare stakeholders.
- Work closely with customer service and logistics teams to resolve service issues.
- Report hazards, incidents, and maintenance requirements promptly.
- Lead by example in promoting safe work practices and behaviours.
About You
To succeed in this role, our client is looking for someone who can balance operational coordination with strong people leadership.
You will ideally bring:
- Previous experience within logistics, warehousing, supply chain, healthcare support services, inventory control, or a similar operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supervising teams.
- Strong organisational and time management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience using ERP, inventory management, or logistics systems.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
Essential Requirements
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- National Police Check (or ability to obtain one).
- Full Australian work rights. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
