Eldercare Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated Live-In / Visiting Carer to join our team in Bath. Your primary duties will include assisting wonderful elderly local residents with daily living, managing medication routines, and acting as a tactical referee when two residents demand to watch different channels on the telly at 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Beverage Diplomacy: Prepare high-grade tea and toast strictly according to individual, non-negotiable resident specifications.

• Mobility & Personal Care: Safely assist clients with morning routines, dressing, and mobility, maintaining dignity and good humor at all times.

• Competitive Board Games: Deliberately lose at Scrabble and Dominoes in a believable manner.

• Medication Administration: Keep meticulous records of prescription schedules (no guesswork allowed).

• Conversation Support: Feign genuine surprise at historical anecdotes you heard yesterday.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent experience).

• Valid UK Driver's Licence (essential for navigating narrow Bath country lanes).

• Ironclad patience and an empathetic, upbeat disposition.

• DBS clearance (we will process this for you).
