Our client, a respected company within the oil and gas industry, is seeking a Transport Planner to join their team in Okehampton. This role involves managing and optimising the delivery schedules of a fleet, ensuring efficient stock control and transport administration.

The Role
• Plan and schedule daily deliveries for a fleet of up to 10 drivers.
• Manage stock control and accurately record all stock movements in and out of the depot.
• Complete transport administration including tachograph reports, incident reports, driver defect sheets, and order confirmations.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, drivers, and the sales team to coordinate delivery requirements.
• Arrange vehicle servicing, inspections, repairs, and conduct daily driver debriefs.

Required Expertise
• Previous experience within transport planning or logistics operations.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
