Salary: £32,000 per annum

Hours: Full Time - 3-shift pattern (6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm/ 10pm-6am)

Our client, a logistics business in Bristol, is seeking a Warehouse Shift Supervisor. This role involves overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring client service levels are met.

The Role
• Supervising a team of 15 warehouse operatives across inbound and outbound operations.
• Ensuring daily pick, pack, and despatch targets are met in line with client SLAs.
• Conducting team briefings at shift start and managing attendance and performance.
• Carrying out regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies to the warehouse manager.
• Maintaining health and safety compliance across the shift, including PPE checks and near miss reporting.
• Provide leadership, support, and oversight across a rotating 3-shift pattern, including weekends.

Required Expertise
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role.
• Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
• Competent with WMS or stock management systems.
• Able to manage a team effectively under pressure.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Experience
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role

Essential Skills and Competencies

• Capable of managing a team effectively under pressure
• Competent with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or stock management systems
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse environment

Essential Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift licence

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

• Reach truck licence
• Experience with SAP WMS
• IOSH Managing Safely certificate
