Based in Plymouth, this role requires strategic oversight of supply chain operations to enhance efficiency and drive cost reduction. The position involves leadership of a team of logistics and procurement professionals, focusing on continuous improvement and strategic supplier relationships.
Core Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple distribution channels.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Manage and develop a team of logistics and procurement professionals.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and third-party logistics providers.
• Oversee contract negotiations and SLA management.
• Produce regular performance reports and present findings to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function.
Required Expertise
• Demonstrable experience in a senior supply chain or logistics management role.
• Strong leadership and people management capability.
