Location: Plymouth, Devon (hybrid)
Salary: £58,000 per annum
Employment Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
Our client, a leading company in the logistics distribution and supply chain sector, is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager. Based in Plymouth, this role involves leading and optimising supply chain operations across diverse distribution channels. The position requires strategic oversight to enhance efficiency and minimise operational costs.
Core Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple distribution channels.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Manage and develop a team of logistics and procurement professionals.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and third-party logistics providers.
• Oversee contract negotiations and SLA management.
• Produce regular performance reports and present findings to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function.
Required Expertise
• Demonstrable experience in a senior supply chain or logistics management role.
• Strong leadership and people management capability.
• Deep understanding of procurement, inventory management and distribution operations.
• Excellent analytical and commercial skills.
• Confident communicator at all levels including senior stakeholders.
• Proficient in ERP and supply chain management systems.
