Assemblers & Production Assistants

Join a leading marine lighting and navigation aid manufacturer in Somerville! We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Assemblers and Production Assistants for an immediate start in a fast-paced production environment.

Hours:
Summer Hours: 6:30am – 2:30pm
Standard Operating Hours (March onwards): 7:30am – 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components with a high level of accuracy
• Perform functional testing and quality inspections on finished products
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Operate, set up, and monitor production equipment
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance tasks
• Maintain production targets while adhering to quality standards
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

About You

• Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or production environment is essential
• Experience with soldering and electronics assembly is highly regarded
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining attendance
• Strong focus on workplace safety and safe work practices
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Available to commence at short notice and work Monday to Friday
