Salary: €34,650 per annum
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (End of August/Beginning of September 2026 – June 2027)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Working Arrangement: Office-Based
About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and organised Clerical Officer to join a busy and professional Education, Research and Learning team based in Dublin City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional looking to gain valuable experience within a fast-paced environment that supports professional development, learning initiatives, training programmes, and member services.
The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative and supportive team, providing administrative and clerical support across a range of education, research, learning, and training activities. This role would suit someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Education, Research and Learning team.
- Assist in the coordination and organisation of professional development programmes, training events, and learning opportunities.
- Respond to queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation.
- Draft correspondence and prepare reports, meeting materials, and presentations as required.
- Support event planning, scheduling, and logistics.
- Conduct research and information gathering when required.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all administrative processes.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to team objectives.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a clerical, administrative, or office support role.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- A willingness to learn, research, and develop knowledge in new areas.
