GTA Biz Scenario – Room 4 Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support the organization's business objectives. This role manages the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates while ensuring a positive candidate experience and strong stakeholder partnership. The Talent Acquisition Specialist works closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver effective talent acquisition strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Sourcing
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned positions.
Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements, role expectations, and workforce plans.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, professional networks, employee referrals, and direct sourcing techniques.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Conduct market mapping and competitor talent research.
Candidate Assessment & Selection
Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Coordinate and facilitate interview schedules between candidates and hiring teams.
Provide candidate recommendations based on assessment results and business requirements.
Support offer development, negotiations, and acceptance processes.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Provide regular updates on hiring progress, market insights, and recruitment metrics.
Ensure hiring decisions align with company policies and diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives.
Candidate Experience
Deliver a positive and professional experience throughout the recruitment journey.
Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates.
Manage candidate feedback and ensure a seamless onboarding transition for successful hires.
Recruitment Operations & Reporting
Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and recruitment standards.
Track and report key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate pipeline health, and hiring outcomes.
Support recruitment projects, process improvements, and employer branding initiatives.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field preferred.
Experience
2–5 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
Experience managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple job functions.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
Skills & Competencies
Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills.
Excellent interviewing and assessment capabilities.
Effective stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Workday, SuccessFactors, Greenhouse).
