Our client, a leading entity in the manufacturing and production sector, seeks an Operations Director to spearhead strategic operational initiatives across multiple sites. This role demands a robust focus on enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and driving enterprise-level impact. The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO, playing a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's market position and achieving its commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the operational function across multiple manufacturing sites
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Own the P&L for operations and report directly to the CEO
• Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team
• Manage relationships with key suppliers and strategic partners
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all sites

Required Expertise

• Proven track record at General Manager, Operations Director or equivalent C-suite level with full P&L accountability
• Senior-level operations leadership within manufacturing or logistics
• Strong commercial acumen with P&L ownership experience
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to drive change and embed a culture of continuous improvement
• Degree educated or equivalent senior leadership experience

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodology
• Exposure to multi-site operations
• Previous experience working within a PE-backed or growth environment
