What Your Days Could Look Like:
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple distribution channels
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage and develop a team of logistics and procurement professionals
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and third-party logistics providers
• Oversee contract negotiations and manage service level agreements (SLAs)
• Produce regular performance reports and present findings to senior leadership
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CIPS, APICS, or equivalent recognised qualification

Essential Experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior supply chain or logistics management role within the engineering sector
• Proven track record in procurement, inventory management, and distribution operations

Essential Skills and Competencies
• Proficient in ERP and supply chain management systems
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making
• Competent in commercial negotiation and contract management
• Effective stakeholder engagement and communication at all organisational levels
