Salary: £17.00 per hour

Our client, a leading company in the education sector, is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to oversee their dynamic supply chain operations. This role offers the opportunity to lead a talented team of logistics and procurement professionals, driving efficiency and innovation within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. With a focus on strategic supplier relationships and continuous improvement, this position plays a vital role in shaping the company's supply chain strategy.
What Your Days Could Look Like:
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple distribution channels.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage and develop a team of logistics and procurement professionals.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and third-party logistics providers.
• Oversee contract negotiations and manage service level agreements.
• Produce regular performance reports and present findings to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function.
Required Skills:
• Demonstrable experience in a senior supply chain or logistics management role.
• Strong leadership and people management capability.
• Deep understanding of procurement, inventory management, and distribution operations.
• Excellent analytical and commercial skills.
• Confident communicator at all levels, including senior stakeholders.
• Proficient in ERP and supply chain management systems.
Nice to Have:
• CIPS qualification or equivalent.
• Experience managing international supply chains.
• Exposure to S&OP processes.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Essential Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent recognised qualification
Essential Experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior supply chain or logistics management role
• Proven track record in procurement, inventory management, and distribution operations
Essential Skills and Competencies
• Strong leadership and people management capability
• Proficient in ERP and supply chain management systems
• Excellent analytical and commercial skills
• Competent in developing and implementing supply chain strategies
• Confident communicator at all levels, including senior stakeholders
