Location: Plymouth, Devon (on-site)
Salary: £35,000 per annum

Our client, a prominent healthcare business, is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead their dynamic supply chain operations in Plymouth. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient distribution across multiple channels, all while nurturing strategic relationships with suppliers and logistics providers. If you have a knack for leadership and a deep understanding of procurement and inventory management, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact within a thriving industry.
What Your Days Could Look Like:
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple distribution channels
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage and develop a team of logistics and procurement professionals
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and third-party logistics providers
• Oversee contract negotiations and SLA management
• Produce regular performance reports and present findings to senior leadership
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function
Required Skills:
• Demonstrable experience in a senior supply chain or logistics management role
• Strong leadership and people management capability
• Deep understanding of procurement, inventory management, and distribution operations
• Excellent analytical and commercial skills
• Confident communicator at all levels, including senior stakeholders
• Proficient in ERP and supply chain management systems
Desirable Skills:
• CIPS qualification or equivalent
• Experience managing international supply chains
• Exposure to S&OP processes
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
