Location: Plymouth, Devon (Hybrid)
Salary: £58,000 per annum
Employment Type: Full-time
Drive the strategic execution of supply chain operations at Mego Employment, a leading logistics firm. You will lead end-to-end supply chain activities across multiple distribution channels, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. Your strategic leadership will be critical in developing supply chain strategies, managing a skilled team, and fostering relationships with key suppliers. This role is pivotal to our operational success and your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our supply chain function.
Core Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple distribution channels
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Manage and develop a team of logistics and procurement professionals
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and third-party logistics providers
• Oversee contract negotiations and SLA management
• Produce regular performance reports and present findings to senior leadership
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function
Required Expertise
• Demonstrable experience in a senior supply chain or logistics management role
• Deep understanding of procurement, inventory management, and distribution operations
• Excellent analytical and commercial skills
• Proficient in ERP and supply chain management systems
Nice to Have Skills
• CIPS qualification or equivalent
• Experience managing international supply chains
• Exposure to S&OP processes
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
