Location: Plymouth, Devon (hybrid)
Salary: £58,000 per annum
Employment Type: Full-time

Drive the end-to-end supply chain operations for a leading logistics organisation. You will lead the development and implementation of strategic supply chain initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Take ownership of managing a team of logistics and procurement professionals, while fostering strategic relationships with key suppliers and third-party providers. Oversee contract negotiations and SLA management to ensure optimal performance. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement across the supply chain function, making this role pivotal to the organisation's success.

Core Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple distribution channels
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Manage and develop a team of logistics and procurement professionals
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and third-party logistics providers
• Oversee contract negotiations and SLA management
• Produce regular performance reports and present findings to senior leadership
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function

Required Expertise
• Demonstrable experience in a senior supply chain or logistics management role
• Deep understanding of procurement, inventory management and distribution operations
• Excellent analytical and commercial skills
• Proficient in ERP and supply chain management systems

Nice to Have Skills
• CIPS qualification or equivalent
• Experience managing international supply chains
• Exposure to S&OP processes
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
