Second Fix Carpenter

We are currently seeking skilled Second Fix Carpenters to join a fast-growing engineering and infrastructure company based in Dandenong, VIC. This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent work with a reputable Australian manufacturer in a well-established workshop environment.

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm
• Overtime: Occasional Saturdays available
• Pay Rate: $45 per hour + weekly pay

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be working within a production/workshop environment, contributing to the assembly and finishing of modular structures.

Duties include:

• Lining small modules using 12mm A grade plywood
• Hanging and fitting electrical striker equipped doors
• Installing pressed metal door frames with precision
• General workshop support and manual handling tasks
• Safe and efficient use of hand and power tools
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in carpentry
• Background in construction, manufacturing, or modular building environments (highly regarded)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work from plans or instructions
• Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to 25kg
• A reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional overtime
