About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Entry-Level Help Desk Technician to join our IT team. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in IT who enjoys solving problems, helping others, and learning new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end users via phone, email, or ticketing system
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access permissions
- Document issues, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary
- Follow IT policies, procedures, and security best practices
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and common software applications
- Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Customer-oriented mindset with a willingness to help others
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Associate degree or certification in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, or similar tools
- Previous internship or customer service experience
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ (or willingness to obtain)
