We’re looking for an experienced and confident Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Thomastown. If you’re safety focused, organised, and capable of leading a busy warehouse environment, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a stable and rewarding role.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the smooth day to day operation of the warehouse, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency across all activities. This is a hands on leadership role where you’ll support the team, maintain high standards, and keep dispatch running on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the warehouse team to ensure safe and efficient daily operations
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard free warehouse environment
- Manage daily orders to ensure safe and timely dispatch
- Coordinate outgoing freight with local and interstate carriers
- Oversee packing standards, equipment use, and presentation quality
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment in line with safety procedures
- Ensure all labelling, documentation, and computer entries are accurate
- Maintain racking, labelling, and storage areas in good order
- Support positive working relationships between Warehouse and Sales teams
- Manage refuse removal and neat storage of pallets and skids
- Double check outgoing goods to minimise delivery errors
- Allocate picking tickets and track pick progress
- Run reports, follow up on deadlines, and ensure delivery schedules are met
- Address performance issues professionally when required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous warehouse leadership or senior warehouse experience
- Strong communication skills and confidence in addressing performance issues
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to run reports, follow up tasks, and keep schedules on track
- Forklift licence (LF) preferred
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work well within a team
