About the Role:
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for a range of accounting functions, including:
- Preparing and processing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Assisting with the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
- Providing financial analysis and support to internal stakeholders.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.
- Supporting the implementation of new accounting standards and systems.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have: - A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting (e.g., Bachelor of Accounting).
- Membership or eligibility for membership of a professional accounting body.
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in financial accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
