Financial Accountant

About the Role:
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for a range of accounting functions, including:

• Preparing and processing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Assisting with the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
• Providing financial analysis and support to internal stakeholders.
• Liaising with internal and external auditors.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.
• Supporting the implementation of new accounting standards and systems.
  
  
  About You:
  To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting (e.g., Bachelor of Accounting).
• Membership or eligibility for membership of a professional accounting body.
• Proven experience as a Financial Accountant.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in financial accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
