• Ophthalmology
• Endoscopy & Gastroscopy
• Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

About the Role
Due to a recent service expansion, our client is seeking an experienced, motivated Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse to join the theatre team with flexibility in days available to work.

In this role, you will:

• Provide skilled scrub and scout assistance across ophthalmology, gastroenterology, and OMFS procedures
• Ensure timely preparation and access to instruments and consumables
• Maintain aseptic technique and uphold infection prevention standards
• Support surgeons through meticulous instrument handling, swab counts, and procedural assistance
• Contribute to NSQHS compliance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Foster a respectful, safe, and high-performing theatre culture

About You

• Solid Scrub/Scout RN experience
• Ophthalmic theatre experience (highly desirable, but not essential)
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively
