Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

  • Help transport patients within the facility as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient rooms and common areas.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with medical procedures and tasks as required.
  • Document patient care activities and observations accurately in medical records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in healthcare assistance is preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help patients and their families.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminologies and healthcare practices.
