Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Service Management Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting IT service management processes, ensuring the efficient operation of IT services, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Management: Implement and manage IT service management processes, including incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
- Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT service issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Monitoring: Monitor IT services and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT service management processes and procedures.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze service management reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT service management or a related role.
- Certifications: ITIL Foundation certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT service management tools and technologies, such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar platforms.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
