Responsibilities
- Operate 360-degree excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Load and unload materials as required on construction sites.
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on the machinery as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to execute site preparation and excavation tasks effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times.
- Communicate with project managers and site supervisors to coordinate work schedules and operations.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license, preferably with a CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Proven experience operating a 360-degree excavator or similar heavy machinery.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
- Physical stamina and capability to handle demanding tasks on construction sites.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
