Antony James recruitment is currently supporting a client in Bourne end recruiting for a Head Chef.
My client in Bourne end is a vibrant and contemporary Tapas located on the River of this picturesque town. Renowned for its chic decor and relaxed atmosphere, my client offers an eclectic menu featuring locally sourced ingredients and a fusion of traditional and modern cuisine.
Job Details:
Position: Head Chef
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Shift pattern: 5/7 - all straights
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining current knowledge of culinary trends and kitchen procedures; ensuring that kitchen workers follow quality, hygiene, and cleanliness requirements; interacting with suppliers and making sure they provide high-quality products at reasonable costs.
- Keeping an eye on stock levels and placing orders when necessary
- Managing culinary equipment upkeep and scheduling repairs as necessary
- Managing employee concerns, such as sick leave and attendance, and imposing discipline when needed
- Creating new recipes and revamping menus to draw in more customers
- Ensuring that visitors have a delightful dining experience and receive exceptional service
